Job Description

A PhD position is available at the Department of Physics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. The astrophysics research at KTH covers a broad range of topics related to astronomical transients and compact objects, as well as the development of instrumentation for X-ray astronomy. The main focus for the PhD position is studies of supernova remnants. The work will primarily involve analysis and modeling of observational data. Observations from a range of different telescopes will be used, including the James Webb Space Telescope.

The employment is four years with the possibility of extension up to five years. Up to 20 percent department duties, such as teaching, are included in the employment. More information about the position is available here: https://www.kth.se/lediga-jobb/721116?l=en
